Health generally shows in an attractive vital and friendly personality expressing optimism, spontaneity and a keen interest in life.

Physical Health is apparent when we are free of disease and unrestricted in movement.

Emotional Health is expressed through right emotions, contentment, positive moods and feelings, little anxiety or nervousness, easy emotions without retentions of resentments, fears and anger. A smiling, happy face tells all!  Love, kindness and care show in emotional health and balance.

Mental Health is shown by an interest in ideas, intellectual undertakings, positive ideas and principles, and an ability to communicate thoughts easily by speech, or by writing and a willingness to discuss and to our thoughts with others. Mental fitnessrequires a clarity of the mental faculties of concentration and memory. It is also indicated in an ability to appreciate the need for periods of mental reflection and to enjoy passive periods of refreshment in relaxation and meditation.

Spiritual Health includes all of the above but is reflected additionally in a deeper sense of responsibility both towards ones own true nature as to the welfare of others. The expanded consciousness of those who are healthy in mind and body shows as a deeper awareness of both the importance of the individual and the immensity and glory of the universe.

The feeling of being at one with nature and with the universe brings real peace of mind and this is what each of us yearns for. This attitude grows with our conviction that by following natural laws of health and ethics we will experience physical and mental fitness and the sense of well being. This we know that will bring us positive results just as surely as we know that our transgressions will bring negative experiences through physical and mental disease.

In following the well established rules for health on all levels, particularly those that involve our thought, results in a real sense of freedom. Discipline is seen as a key or passport to experiencing that wonderful feeling we call happiness and the opportunity to establish it beyond a passing mood or state as an enduring, heightened state of consciousness.

Our discipline, beyond physical and emotional health, is to achieve total health by experiencing additional happiness and peace of mind.
